Glenn Martin, Esq., serves as the Chief Legal Officer for Northern Light Health. His role is to consult, advise and represent Northern Light Health and its member organizations on all legal matters. In addition to legal, he oversees the following departments: Internal Audit, Compliance, and Risk Management.
Starting in 2005 in Northern Light Health’s compliance department, Glenn was promoted to Chief Legal Officer in 2010. His previous work history includes the beginning of his legal career at Hale and Dorr in Boston, now Wilmer Hale, in the litigation department with a focus on white collar criminal defense. He then served as a federal prosecutor in the economic crime unit at the United States Attorney’s Office, Western District of Michigan, where he was the criminal healthcare fraud coordinator. He also led the Health Care Fraud Task Force for seven years during his tenure at the US Attorney’s Office.
Glenn’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Bates College, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Michigan Law School.
He is active in the American Health Lawyers Association and Association of Corporate Counsel, and is admitted to practice law in Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.
