: As the senior vice president of operations, Marc is responsible for managing Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center’s resources and ensuring efficient services are designed to meet the needs of patients, physicians, staff, and the region we serve.
The road to here
: Marc received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Richard Stockton State College and a Master of Health Administration from The George Washington University.
Following progressive career advancements at Crozer-Keystone Health System, during which time the organization grew to a five hospital system serving an urban and suburban service area, Marc left to lead the establishment of an organization focused on assisting with healthcare regulatory and accreditation preparedness. From there, Marc joined the consulting and interim leadership team at B.E. Smith in 2010. Through this role, Marc led operations, quality management, and performance improvement initiatives for healthcare organizations across the country. Marc came to Eastern Maine Medical Center in 2017 from Providence Hospital in Washington DC where he held the senior vice president of operations and chief operating officer position.
What he’s trying to do:
Marc calls upon his diverse healthcare experience and collaborative spirit in guiding Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center through transformative change supporting the delivery of our mission to care for patients, families, communities, and one another. His charge is to balance Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center’s talent, technology, and financial resources to best meet the needs of our patients today while anticipating and planning for the future of healthcare in Maine.

Marc’s proudest accomplishment is that, with each engagement, he has grown in his knowledge and leadership abilities while improving the foundation and culture of each of the diverse healthcare organizations he has served.
