When your loved one dies, you may feel a variety of emotions.

You may find that navigating life after your loved one's death can be difficult.  Everyone's grief experience feels different and having a variety of support options can be helpful during this challenging time.  Northern Light Home Care & Hospice is here to help you. We have many grief resources and support services to guide you on your journey.


Bereavement Services:

Hospice Bereavement Care
Families cared for by our hospice team are offered grief support during the year following a death in the family.  Services are tailored to individual needs.  Our bereavement coordinators are available to provide grief support through visits, phone calls, support groups, and educational material.

Bereavement Newsletter
"Grief Notes" is a monthly support letter provided to hospice families for 13 months following the death of a loved one.  It is also available free of charge to any community member who would like to receive it.  Click below to view our newsletters:

Support Groups
Northern Light Home Care & Hospice offers grief support groups facilitated by trained staff and volunteers.  These are held at various times throughout the year across our service area and may be attended by any member of the community grieving the death of a loved one.

Referrals
If needed, referrals to counselors, grief support groups, and other supportive organizations can be provided.
