Join trained facilitators from Maine Boys to Men for this one-time, 3.5 hour workshop from 9:00am-12:30pm for expectant dads. Learn how to become more comfortable with your new role as a dad by learning important basic skills about caring for an infant and supporting your partner. This program encourages men to be equal participants as caregivers in the parenting of their children and prepares them to make informed decisions about what attitudes and behaviors they want to carry forward.
UPDATE: While the local program is suspended due to CDC guidelines on public gatherings, there is an interim option for new dads who would still like to participate. While it’s not the same as attending in person, the National Boot Camp for New Dads organization is temporarily providing an online workshop option for a $35 participation fee. The live online workshops will be held on Saturdays 9-noon PST (Noon – 3:00 pm EST). New dads can register for the Online Workshop here.
Daddy Boot camp relies on donations from local organizations and personal donations from the community, Daddy Boot Camp Class is free.
