Jay Reynolds, MD

President, Northern Light AR Gould Hospital

Jay Reynolds, MD is the president of AR Gould and a senior vice president of Northern Light Health. 

As president, Jay is focused on coordinating the services needed to care for all residents of Aroostook County. AR Gould is a key resource to Aroostook County, and he is committed to collaborating with others to improve the health, wellness, and lives of all County residents.

Prior to serving as president, Dr. Reynolds was the senior physician executive for AR Gould Hospital for several years. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing the performance of the physicians and advanced practice professionals of AR Gould and advocating for effective and efficient medical care. He also previously served in the role of chief operating officer.

Dr. Reynolds is passionate about ensuring our patients get the quality of care they need and the quality of service they deserve.

In his leadership role Dr. Reynolds has served as a member of the Northern Light Health Board of Trustees. He also serves on the University of Maine Presque Isle Foundation Board.

Prior to serving as president and senior physician executive, Dr. Reynolds was a family medicine physician in AR Gould Primary Care.
