On Tuesday, November 29 – Giving Tuesday – Northern Light Acadia Hospital was pleased to be presented with a check for $50,000 by Versant Power to support the hospital’s Acadia for All campaign.

The electric utility’s generous donation will specifically support the Acadia CARES program which highlights crucial youth mental health and wellness issues, including eating disorders, suicide prevention, bullying, anxiety, sexual identity, substance use, and resiliency. To date, the Acadia CARES curriculum has been used by more than 250 school districts, organizations, and individuals from Kittery to Fort Kent and in ten states across the country.
