Donna Boehm, MSN, RN, MPH

Vice President, Oncology Service Line, Northern Light Cancer Care

Donna Boehm, MSN, MPH, RN, is in the dual position of system leader for the Northern Light Health Oncology Service Line and associate vice president of Oncology services at the Lafayette Family Cancer Institute. She is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in leadership and clinical operations. She joined Northern Light Health in 2021 by way of ThedaCare in Wisconsin, where she was a service line leader for regional cancer program with several locations. Her experience also brought her to Green Bay as divisional director of Cancer Services for HSHS St. Vincent Regional Cancer Center.

Previously, she received her Master of Science in Nursing as well as Master of Public Health from Yale University in New Haven, CT.  She also developed and oversaw cancer services at Hartford Health as Oncology Program Development Manager for The Hospital of Central Connecticut.

As the director at Northern Light Cancer Care, Donna returns to New England to bring a fresh eye to the challenges of expanding cancer options for Maine’s aging population, who are living longer with the disease due to better long-term treatments. She looks forward to leveraging resources to grow patient services, enhancing partnerships in the area, and supporting patients and their families from the first diagnosis through survivorship.

In her system role, Donna will ensure that care is streamlined for our patients, so they can receive treatment as close to home as possible. She will work with cancer leaders and providers throughout the state to open up communication and services, reach strategic initiatives, and help oncology teams stay well connected and share knowledge and resources.

I look forward to supporting the ongoing development of the Oncology service line. I am especially excited to work with the Cancer Care teams to help provide world class care to residents throughout Maine.
