Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center maintains a cancer registry that collects and maintains a database of all patients diagnosed with cancer. The registry follows individuals from the time of diagnosis through treatment and their years beyond treatment. We track the incidence and types of cancer diagnosed and treated at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center.
As a requirement of our accreditation through the
American College of Surgeons – Commission on Cancer, we produce an annual report on cancer highlighting the trends and overview of the last year at Northern Light Cancer Care.
