Pelvic Rehabilitation

Pelvic Rehabilitation is a unique specialty in physical therapy that focuses on treating conditions that affect the structures around the pelvis. The pelvic floor muscles are inside the pelvis and help support our organs and control bladder and bowel functions. The abdominal, back, hip and breathing muscles surround the pelvis and play important roles in pelvic function. Pelvic conditions can affect men, women, and children.

Cadie Saucier is our physical therapist here at Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital who has training to treat pelvic conditions in anyone.
