Northern Light Mercy Hospital welcomes new primary care physician to Windham

Northern Light Mercy Hospital is pleased to welcome Anthony Pastore, DO to Northern Light Mercy Primary Care in Windham. A photo of Dr. Pastore is attached.

Dr. Pastore earned his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Prior to joining Northern Light Mercy Primary Care, Dr. Pastore completed his family medicine residency at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. Dr. Pastore is a member of the American Geriatrics Society, American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Family Medicine Education Consortium. In addition to family medicine, he has passion for geriatric medicine and palliative care.

“I find family medicine incredibly rewarding,” said Dr. Pastore. “I am honored to have the opportunity to care for multiple generations at every stage of life. I believe that care is most meaningful when there is a strong relationship between patients and providers, and I look forward to getting to know each patient and help them achieve their best possible health.” 

Dr. Pastore, who grew up in Southern Maine, values spending time with friends, family, and his German Shephard. Some of his fondest memories have been made on Little Sebago Lake, and in his free time he enjoys running, tennis, basketball, soccer, skiing, and following New England sports teams and Newcastle United.
