The Care Management Medical Director is an administrative role that will support Care Management and Utilization Review initiatives.  The CM Medical Director will be responsible for upholding the Conditions of Participation regarding Utilization review, including managing admission, concurrent and retrospective review of cases referred by case management or the department’s professional staff.  In addition, the CM Medical director will chair the UR committee and act as a champion for case management personnel on physician related issues and act in support of case management processes and procedures.
