Pediatric Urology

Pediatric urology is a surgical subspecialty of medicine dealing with the disorders of children's genitourinary systems. Our pediatric urologists provide care for both boys and girls ranging from birth to early adult age.

Our multidisciplinary approach to care includes making every effort to provide families with non-invasive and minimally invasive treatment choices. Robotic surgery has become an integral option in the care of pediatric patients requiring urologic reconstructive surgery. In all cases, we strive to provide remarkable urologic care to all of our patients.

We manage and treat conditions ranging from common bedwetting to complex fetal and congenital anomalies. We are experienced in advanced diagnostic evaluation and surgical treatment, patient conditions including:

  • Bladder control problems such as bedwetting and daytime urinary incontinence

  • Undescended testes (cryptorchidism)

  • Hypospadias

  • Urolithiasis (bladder and kidney stones)

  • Chordee and other minor malformations of the penis

  • Phimosis

  • Urinary obstruction and vesicoureteral reflux

  • Neurogenic bladder (e.g., associated with spina bifida)
