COVID-19, flu vaccine clinic to be held in Greenville on October 21

Northern Light CA Dean Hospital’s final adult walk-in vaccination clinic of the season will be held on Saturday, October 21 from 9 am to 3 pm at Bartley’s Center Cove Events, 241 Pritham Avenue in Greenville.

Community members can get the COVID-19 vaccine, the flu vaccine, or both at the clinic. High dose flu shots will be available for people 65 years of age and older.

“The COVID-19 vaccine offered at this clinic is the updated version designed to protect against more recent virus strains,” says Deidre Gilbert, PharmD, director of Pharmacy, CA Dean Hospital. “We expect the vaccine to provide protection against severe disease and hospitalization from COVID-19. It’s available for all adults, including people who have gotten a COVID-19 vaccine previously and those who have never been vaccinated.”
