Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital welcomes new pediatrician

Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital recently welcomed Alexandria Boley, DO to its pediatric care practice.

Dr. Boley joins the Ellsworth pediatric care team from Indian Health Services in Alaska where she worked closely and consulted with family medicine providers offering developmental screening support and medical care for chronic illnesses and conditions.  

During her pediatric rotation in medical school, Dr. Boley fell in love with the specialty. Her interest in preventative care, helping children prepare for a healthy future has made pediatric care a great fit.

Recognizing her strong interest in science and medicine, Dr. Boley was nominated for a Science and Math scholarship in middle school. She thrived in an accelerated program receiving her medical education from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at the Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University.

“Caring for patients in a small, rural community has always been my dream,” explains Dr. Boley. “Joining this extraordinary team at Maine Coast in Ellsworth is such a great fit. My family and I look forward to exploring more of the downeast Maine region and have already felt a warm welcome to the area.”
