The James and Hilla Bruni Family-Centered Integrated Behavioral Health Program was made possible through the generosity Jerry and Pam Bruni to help increase access to behavioral health services in the community. This donation from the Brunis, who now live in Colorado, honors Mr. Bruni’s late parents, James and Hilla Bruni, and benefits the community where they raised their family many years ago.
Thanks to the Bruni family, a pediatric behavioral health suite and team of providers is now conveniently located next to Mercy’s pediatric practice on the hospital’s Fore River Parkway campus. A video of the new space can be viewed below.
Services at Northern Light Mercy Integrated Behavioral Health are available to all current Northern Light Mercy Primary Care and Pediatric patients. Care is provided at Mercy health centers throughout the region as well as this new dedicated clinic designed for our pediatric patients.
Integrated behavioral health uses a patient-centered, whole-person approach. Patients and family members are partners in making decisions about their healthcare. Providers develop a care plan with patients, share it with the care team of medical and behavioral health clinicians who provide the treatment, and follow up with patients to track progress.
