Northern Light Mercy Hospital welcomes new ear, nose, and throat specialist

Northern Light Mercy Hospital is pleased to announce that Brandon Chiu, MD, a board-certified otolaryngologist, has joined Northern Light Mercy Ear, Nose, and Throat Care. In a new collaborative arrangement, Dr. Chiu will also be seeing InterMed patients as an InterMed physician in its Portland location, providing consultative care and performing surgical procedures.

Dr. Chiu has experience in all subspecialties of ear, nose, and throat. His interests include pediatric otolaryngology, sinonasal pathology, and thyroid disease. 

Dr. Chiu completed his undergraduate degree at Harvard University where he was the captain and top player on the varsity tennis team. He received his medical degree at Virginia Commonwealth University and followed with residency training at the University of Chicago. Prior to joining Mercy Hospital, he practiced at the Alaska Native Medical Center. 

Outside of work, you can find Dr. Chiu biking, playing tennis, or beachcombing with his family.
